Solar & Battery Storage
Generating your own electricity
Generating your own electricity with solar PV is one of the simplest ways to reduce your reliance on the grid and cut long-term running costs. We’ll guide you through the right system size for your property, expected generation, and the best layout for your roof space.
Whether you’re looking at a residential installation or a commercial array, we can support you from initial advice and site survey through to installation, commissioning and handover.
What we can help with:
- System design and panel/inverter selection
- Roof and electrical survey
- Safe installation, testing and certification
- Export considerations and guidance on getting paid for surplus energy (SEG)
- Advice on VAT savings where applicable (0% VAT on qualifying installs currently runs until 31 March 2027)
Battery Storage
Battery storage lets you use more of the energy you generate — storing surplus solar and powering your home or business later in the day. It can also help you take advantage of off-peak tariffs by charging when electricity is cheaper and using it when prices are higher (where your tariff supports this).
We’ll help you choose the right battery capacity and configure the system safely, including any export limitations needed.
What we can help with:
- Battery sizing to match your usage and solar generation
- Hybrid inverter / retrofit battery options
- Backup / essential circuits options (where suitable)
- Grid connection requirements and DNO notifications/applications (G98/G99 depending on system)
- VAT savings: zero-rate on qualifying energy-saving materials is currently in place until 31 March 2027
Payment plans are available, subject to conditions.
